Open downlight frames may not suit bathrooms, kitchens or other moisture-prone areas. These fixed IP65 GU10 recessed spotlight frames combine a protected design with a clean, non-tilting centre for consistent downward lighting.
The 6-pack includes six matching GU10 sockets and fits Ø75–100 mm ceiling cutouts. Its white, corrosion-resistant plastic construction is designed for bathrooms, kitchens and appropriate outdoor installations. Bulbs are not included.
Fixed IP65 GU10 Downlight Frames
Use these round white recessed frames in bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, hallways, offices, shops, restaurants and suitable outdoor locations. The fixed centre is intended for clean, consistent downward lighting rather than directional accent lighting.
Because the bulbs are selected separately, you can choose the brightness, colour temperature, beam angle and dimming capability required for the room. For dimming, use dimmable GU10 bulbs with a compatible LED dimmer.

Installation Guide
- Switch off and isolate the electrical supply at the consumer unit. Confirm that the circuit is dead before work begins.
- Measure the opening and confirm that each round ceiling cutout is between Ø75 and 100 mm.
- Check the available ceiling depth, ventilation and clearance required by the selected GU10 bulb.
- Have the GU10 socket wired in accordance with local electrical regulations and the requirements of the installation zone.
- Fit the selected GU10 bulb, secure the frame and confirm that all seals and retaining parts are correctly positioned.
- Confirm that the fixed frame sits flush, restore power and test the completed installation.
Electrical and IP safety: Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician. For bathrooms or outdoor areas, confirm that the complete installed fitting—including the selected bulb and all connections—meets the applicable local zone, IP and electrical requirements.
When This Product Is Not Suitable
- Ceiling cutouts smaller than 75 mm or larger than 100 mm.
- Projects that require GU10 bulbs to be included.
- Direct use with MR16 GU5.3 bulbs unless a suitable holder and low-voltage driver are purchased separately.
- Projects that require an adjustable or tilting spotlight to direct the beam toward a wall, display or work surface.
- Fire-rated ceilings where a certified fire-rated downlight assembly is required; no fire rating is stated for this product.
- Installations requiring direct contact with or coverage by ceiling insulation unless the completed assembly is independently approved for it.
- Inside range hoods or in locations directly exposed to high heat, steam or heavy grease, as the plastic frame is not designed for these environments.
- Locations where the complete installed fitting cannot maintain the required IP protection or comply with local bathroom and outdoor electrical zones.
- Projects requiring an ingress-protection rating higher than IP65.
